I was in the wheelchair accessible room. It was very accessible and clean. The bathroom was accessible, no problem rolling into the shower, the shower head was able to be taken off the wall, the commode fit over the toilet, the double sink had a slope under it to fit the knees but would be better to have no wood at all ie exposed under the sink to be able to fit further under the sink. There was plenty of room between the beds to fit the wheelchair and commode beside the bed. The only thing I would say to improve the room would be to make one of the beds lower so my carer didnt have to lift me on and off the bed 3 times a day which is hard on his back and takes away my independence.

Saw a lot of awful reviews that made me hesitant and worried about booking this. Obviously the fact that it's cheap already makes you suspicious. Went for it anyway. It exceeded my expectations by a huge margin. The room was super nice and spacious, the bed very comfortable and big, and the bathroom extremely clean and nice. Not sure where all these bad reviews came from but I guess they must have been unlucky. The staff was also very professional and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing too. So much bacon and egg, toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, etc. What else can you wish for? This felt like a 4 star stay for the price of a 1 star stay.

The room was very comfy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had enough variety and loved that is included, so you can take breaky and start the day. Early check-in available🙂 It's a bit far from downtown, but the R5 fast bus stops just in front of the hotel. Convenience store and restaurants around. People say Hastings is the street of homeless people, but the blocks where they are are far from the hotel (even though they're not dangerous, also interesting to see the other side of Vancouver and how drugs affect the area).

Katie on reception was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for her so that made up for only one USB port in the room and having a coffee maker as against a kettle which is ok if you want that type of beverage. Location was great as the bus stop is at the front door so it was great. We also found a great little Indian Restaurant called my Indian Village Eatery about 200 Metres up the street which was absolutely wonderful and certainly made up for any other shortcomings.

All went well - Good breakfast from cereals toast croissants juices and beverages etc etc to a full hot breakfast to get you going for a full day - Great location with heaps of shops and eateries nearby - especially the Italia Bakery across the road - get on to the creme brulee and a cappuccino. Free shuttle to Canada Place was excellent - The staff were always friendly and helpful
