Great location for PNE or pacific coliseum. I have to be honest, I nearly cancelled the booking a dozen times before going as I was skeptical staying on east Hastings due to the stigma of homelessness and shady people. I went looking through the reviews to see if anyone commented on this fact and no one had. So here it is. For those not accustomed to Vancouver, it appears the shady side of east Hastings is further up the road. This hotel is located in a fairly public area with lots of the staple amenities, petro gas station, subway, Tim hortons, pizza shop all within a couple minutes walking distance. Streets appeared to be safe and clean. Super close to the pacific coliseum which is why we went. About a 5-10 minute walk, or if it’s raining. $5-10 cab ride (factoring in small tip). Clean rooms, very nice. Admittedly we were not on the street side, therefore it was quiet. Not sure how the street side is. The room was nice and comfortable, bed was great. The $250 deposit is steep especially compared to everyone else. But other than that it was very affordable and did not disappoint. Would most definitely book here again when going to the coliseum.

The beds were very comfortable especially for a hotel bed. The continental breakfast was way more than we expected as there was lots of choices for a hot or cold breakfast and the coffee was very good. They hotel was in the process of updating the key cards while we visited and the whole ordeal took less than 5 minutes, the new card system is much more user friendly. All the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and super helpful. The only issue was possibly the hotel location but there are lots of bus options to take and I truly felt relaxed knowing my vehicle was parked safely in the parkade only accessible by employees or other hotel guests.

This was & still is a beautiful hotel. Main lobby & floor is stunning. Dated by the old hallways & balconies it is still a lovely place to stay. Rooms were spacious & clean. Right across the street from a few restaurants & a convenience store. The area has a lot of great shops near by & bus stops close at hand. Hotel offers shuttle service to Canada Place which is close to the Waterfront sky train station & seabus. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of options, hot & cold. Staff was very helpful & good natured. I really enjoy my stay at the Atrium.

It was clean and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I messed up the reservation for my mom and her friend and accidentally booked them a room with one bed so I talked to the girl at the front desk (her name started with A) who checked me in and they were luckily able to get them a room with 2 beds for free which I was very greatful for as they were pretty much sold out. We’ve stayed here before and although it’s a little bit dated it’s still very clean and comfortable and staff are always great.

The staff and manager are fantastic, we booked a 1 night stay here to catch up on sleep after 18 hours of flying. Our airline changed our flights dates on the day which meant we had to call up and see if we could bump our stay back a day. We weren't expecting much but we were hoping for the best. We spoke to some staff over the phone as well as the manager. The kindness and empathy they displayed was exceptional! We can't thank them enough!
